We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Support Team Leader to lead our friendly Quality Support & Improvement (QSI) team and support the day-to-day management of the wider laboratory department with the maintenance, verification and calibration of the laboratory equipment, and playing a key role in minimising down time of the laboratory.
Leading a team of Analysts, you’ll be a fundamental part in keeping the lab running and ensuring we are GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant and closely adhering to industry requirements. Working closely with other departments, you will prioritise workloads and delegating tasks across your team to ensure timelines and effective completion for validation, qualification and maintenance of lab equipment, performing COSHH assessments and ensuring all chemicals and reagents are correctly labelled and stored. Along-side this you will oversee the receipt, checking and processing of all chemicals and consumables that come into the lab and manage the scheduling of water and environmental sampling, ensuring effective reporting of results.
With strong understanding of EU and FDA legislation and to ensure quality levels are maintained, you’ll provide support in internal audits and inspections, conducting trend and root cause analysis to recommending corrective and preventative actions, always driving continuous improvement.
