JOB SUMMARY:

The Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications and drawings, evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations, and supporting the tendering and procurement processes. The role ensures that projects are delivered within budget and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost estimation within the construction industry (preferably buildings, villas, infrastructure, or fit-out depending on role).

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Proficiency in estimation and quantity take-off software.
• High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local market rates and suppliers (especially for UAE/GCC roles).

• Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Prepare and submit competitive tender bids including preambles, methodology, and pricing schedules.
• Liaise with procurement to obtain material and subcontractor quotations.
• Analyze and compare received quotations to ensure the most competitive and technically compliant pricing is selected.
