You will have experience working within the Work Health and Safety Act and have exposure to implementing strategies to ensure compliance with other relevant rules, regulations, and legislative requirements in the workplace.

  • Demonstrated experience with regulatory compliance and audits, particularly in export foods.
  • Maintenance of Quality Manuals and associated documentation, and control distribution and amendments
  • Maintaining programs such as QA/Aus-Meat and Department of Agriculture Approved Arrangements
  • Review to make sure KGF complies with the legislative and operational requirements of the relevant Federal, State and Local Government Acts
  • Undertaking periodic quality system audits and leading management reviews of the quality system, measuring program effectiveness, identifying corrective actions and ensuring their implementation
  • Conducting investigations into quality issues as they arise, identifying corrective action to minimise impact
  • Help ensure compliance with sampling and testing procedures, monitoring calibration of inspection and testing equipment to meet specified procedure
