Quality Systems Engineer 📍 Location: Apodaca / Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico 🏭 Industry: Automotive Manufacturing 💰 Salary: MXN $60,000 monthly + superior benefits 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time | On-site About the Role An established automotive manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Systems Engineer responsible for ensuring that the Quality Management System is properly established, implemented, and maintained according to IATF 16949:2016 standards, customer-specific requirements, and corporate guidelines. This role will play a key part in maintaining compliance with international automotive quality standards and supporting continuous improvement across the organization. Key Responsibilities Quality Management System • Maintain and ensure compliance of the Quality Management System according to IATF 16949:2016 • Plan and execute internal audits of the quality management system • Ensure follow-up and closure of corrective and preventive actions from internal and external non-conformities or customer complaints • Maintain and update controlled documentation related to the quality system • Coordinate management review meetings and related reporting Audits & Certifications • Act as the primary contact with certification bodies (e.g., Bureau Veritas) for recertification and surveillance audits • Coordinate activities related to customer-specific quality requirements • Support activities related to CCC Certification (China Compulsory Certification) when required Quality Support • Provide guidance and support to internal departments regarding Quality Management System requirements • Support development and updates of quality documentation • Assist with process quality assurance activities in production, when required Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field Experience • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Systems or Quality Engineering roles • Experience conducting internal quality system audits • Experience coordinating external certification audits Technical Knowledge • Advanced knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification • Knowledge of risk analysis methodologies • Strong understanding of process approach methodology • Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 8 Steps) • Knowledge of Core Tools: APQP PPAP PFMEA Control Plan MSA SPC Languages • Advanced English (bilingual Spanish–English) Compensation & Benefits • Monthly salary: MXN $60,000 • Superior benefits package • Direct hiring with the company • Opportunity to work in a global automotive manufacturing environment Work Location 📍 Manufacturing Plant – Apodaca / Guadalupe, Nuevo León How to Apply If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply through the link and complete your professional profile.
