About This Role
As a Quality Systems Manager, you will be accountable for the implementation, effectiveness and oversight of the governance, risk and compliance of the overall quality management and compliance management systems.
The role ensures data and document control functions effectively and efficiently. Also inherent to this role will be providing expert guidance and advice in relation to all aspects of ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
This role will be hired initially as a 2-year fixed term contract.

The role we are offering you

• Define and manage audit & compliance programs and schedules
• Review and evaluate project deliverables from all phases of the lifecycle to provide an independent technical review
• Identify, drive or manage Continual Improvement and Operational Excellence programs
• Systematically monitor and manage the quality management systems, their use, compliance and meeting legislative & regulatory requirements

Our ideal candidate has:

• Extensive understanding of ISO 9001 (and others), ASDEFCON and WHS regulations
• Proven experience managing Quality Management Systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• People leadership experience

Location:

• This role will be ideally based at either Homebush, NSW - we may consider Brisbane, QLD
• We operate a hybrid working approach.
• Your role will involve some national and international travel

Security requirements
As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
