Essential:

• Extensive knowledge and experience of Quality tools, processes and procedures
• Experience with people management and or coaching/ mentoring
• An inquisitive mind-set, articulate, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Evidence of building networks and good relationships with others across the business.

Desirable:

• Experience of Development / Manufacturing in the aerospace environment
• Good working knowledge of EN9100, AS9102, DO178, DO254, APR 4754 & ARP 4761
• Lean 6-sigma trained
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP to AS9145

• Leading the team to deliver functional and project objectives
• Supporting the team to deliver day-to-day tasks across Hardware, Software, PLD, Safety disciplines including, non-conformance management, audit, gate reviews, First Article inspection, build support, documentation review and change control
• General Supervision of the team including people management, people development and annual performance reviews
• Lead and support continuous improvement
• Conducting monthly Estimate To Complete (ETC) reviews with the team against plan and forecasting forward loading resource requirements for the team and supporting recruitment activities where required
• Supporting early bid activities, creating and delivering ETC’s derived from customer/ industry requirements, business practices and project briefings
• Act as an Assessor for Quality at the various Gate reviews
