Job Details Job Location: Kolpak LLC - Parsons, TN 38363 Job Shift: 1st Shift Job Category: Quality General Job Objective: Under immediate supervision, responsibility may include, but are not limited to inspect materials and products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments to insure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met to satisfy customer requirements Essential Job Functions: Audits/inspects raw material, component parts, sub-assemblies, and finished goods to ensure conformance to specifications Adapt, and/or calibrate equipment (including but not limited to tape measures, micrometers, and calipers) to established guidelines, typically under the guidance of an outside vendor Complete and maintain all associated electronic processes and paperwork (including but not limited to bar-coding, checklists, stamping, blueprints, shipping/receiving documents, accessory lists, and scanning of materials) Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct requirements Actively participate in safety training and demonstrate competency by effectively resolving safety issues or bringing them to the attention of management Qualifications Job Requirements: 1-3 years experience required High School Diploma required Ability to read and interpret blue prints Intermediate math and reading comprehension skills Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer, and caliper Basic Microsoft Office Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English language Basic time - management skills Ability to demonstrate safe and effective utilization of all required equipment Stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of work day Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch Lift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance Ability to climb and balance Ability to use hands to reach and to handle or feel Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage Ability to visually inspect product Work in non-temperature controlled environments Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
Responsibilities
