JOB SUMMARY

The Quality Tech II is responsible for managing quality systems, handling nonconforming products, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in quality engineering, supply chain, business management, or related field.
  • Required: Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: 5 years in a regulated environment, proficiency with SAP, WMS, and ERP platforms.
  • Certifications: Industry-recognized certification in a quality system element (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor) is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP platforms.
  • Excellent technical writing skills.
Responsibilities
  • Quality System Monitoring: Track performance through established metrics and address underperformance.
  • Training and Mentoring: Collaborate with process owners to train and facilitate Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Ensure compliance with quality systems, including holds, product disposition, intracompany claims, QMS audits, and metric data analysis.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Act as the designated representative for local wholesale drug licenses.
  • Operational Support: Assist in various roles during times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacations.
