Description SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS - QUALITY TECHNICIAN Actively involved in all duties for procedures related to inspecting printed circuit boards, from first article to handling and processing all of the related documentation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Visually inspect processed panels on light table to detect defects. Such as bridges, breaks, slivers, line reduction, voids, excessive copper or poor plating. Enter data into company ERP system. Communicate with various departments throughout the organization verbally, over the phone, and via e-mail. Rework pieces if possible. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to Final Inspection Lead and Quality Manager. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma is required. Ability to work with a desktop computer, MS Windows and MS Office programs. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Standing for long periods of time is required. This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals. Exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. Use of light table, small hand tools and other small instruments. Good vision required. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals. WORK SCHEDULE Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., occasional overtime available past 3:30 p.m. during the week and occasional half-days on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
