Description
The driving focus of the Quality Technician will be the support of quality activities that help to reduce the risk of quality issues in the operation of the Clutch business assembly areas. In this role, you will maintain the non-conforming material information and area, support operations with quality concerns, perform process audits on production assembly areas and operations, contribute to product audits, and assist on customer quality complaints. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Must have a minimum of one (1) year of manufacturing experience OR (1) year of lead / coordinator experience No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered. Active - Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and apply basic metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Knowledge of metrology equipment (Vernier, micrometer, gauges, others) Product knowledge (clutch) Background and prior experience in a quality-focused position Position Success Criteria: AIAG Core tools (mainly PPAP, APQP, MSA) A3 and 8D problem solving
