This role performs complex dimensional inspections, contamination testing, and metrology programming to ensure product compliance and continuous improvement of inspection processes. 1. Strong ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). 2. Proficiency with precision inspection tools and metrology software. 3. Experience with CMM programming and Faro Arm operation. 4. Familiarity with laboratory testing processes and failure analysis. 5. Competency in Excel and other inspection software. 6. Excellent communication and documentation skills. 7. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Engineering/Metrology preferred. 8. Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality roles, with programming or lab testing experience. 9. Must be able to work assigned shifts and overtime when required. This position is for the working hours of 7am-3pm, Mon-Fri. What we're looking for: 1. Advanced understanding of GD&T and dimensional inspection principles. 2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 3. Ability to multitask and manage complex inspection assignments. 4. Team-oriented with leadership potential to guide junior inspectors. 1. Program and operate CMM and Faro Arm to measure prototype and production components. 2. Verify dimensional features against CAD models, blueprints, and specifications. 3. Perform laboratory testing, calibration of measuring/torquing-equipment, and ensure cleanliness standards. 4. Record and analyze inspection results in inspection software, Excel, and company databases. 5. Generate Inspection Reports, SNCRs, and throughput logs. 6. Support prototype kickoff inspections and create feature documentation. 7. Ensure inspection and lab equipment are calibrated, maintained, and properly used. 8. Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and production teams to resolve quality issues. 9. Report findings to supervisors and management with recommended corrective actions. 10. Comply with company safety standards and EMS requirements. 1. Train and mentor inspectors on inspection techniques and equipment. 2. Provide technical support for root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects. 3. Fill in for Quality Inspectors as needed during peak demand or absence.
