Description
The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve. The Opportunity Allegro is looking for a meticulous and proactive Technician to join our team, playing a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our semiconductor manufacturing processes. In this position, you will be at the forefront of electrical test verification, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to the overall integrity of our products. This is an exciting chance to apply your technical skills in a dynamic environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly impact our commitment to excellence and innovation. If you are detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of semiconductor testing, and are eager to contribute to a high-performing team, we encourage you to apply. What You Will Do Ensure Quality & Accountability: Uphold and exemplify accountability, discipline, moral conduct, and 5S principles. Ensure technicians strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support Continuous Improvement (CI): Actively monitor and support all CI packages in line, equipped with the necessary tools for electrical process improvements. Perform Electrical Test Verification: Conduct thorough electrical test reject verification on Check Inspection's sampling test failures using Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and manual setups, validating against Test Specification limits. Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather CI verification data and create comprehensive reports (QDMS) for MPE's further verification and disposition. Equipment Setup & Troubleshooting: Perform calibration/correlation, handler setup using Rasco Cell Controller (CC) and/or Automatic Program Loader (APL), HSI, and other related activities. Conduct initial troubleshooting for CI failures. Operational Support: Assist QC inspectors with in/offline setup and provide sustaining support for check inspection operations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with FA-Laboratory personnel regarding Failure Analysis results (e.g., decapsulation, bond cratering, SEM) for valid electrical rejects found at check inspection. Documentation & Trend Analysis: Support data collection for Material Review Board (MRB) or Non-conformance Report (NCR) generation and trend reports for CATS/OS. Maintain and update all necessary data in the CI Database for lot monitoring. Tool & Instrument Upkeep: Ensure tools and instruments are well-maintained and in good condition. Team Contribution: Collaborate with peers to achieve departmental and company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. What Will You Bring? A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or a 3-year Technical/Vocational graduate qualification. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry. Why Allegro? Join Allegro and become part of a team where your contributions truly matter.
