Job Description This role will be permanent, and the shift pattern will be as follows: Sunday - Thursday | 10.30pm – 6.30am. Salary - Starting from £44,648.61 Working as part of a QC team to undertake testing, tinting and validation of batches using all related equipment at their disposal, whilst supporting the business in safely maintaining the highest quality products to satisfy customer and regulatory requirements Carry out in process inspections, testing, colour evaluation, colour correction (both visually and instrumentally) and test validation of paint, raw materials and intermediates according to the product specification, using prescribed test methods. Be flexible in working in all areas related to QC Demonstrate high personal standards in relation to both ensuring customer requirements are met via production scheduling and priorities and with regards to QEHS activities Assist in the progression of production in-process testing to improve product and process quality Undertake administrative work relating to testing, batch validation and stock control via AX Archiving of approved samples and records Liaise, troubleshoot and support both production and development labs in root cause analysis and correction of quality issues Maintain a clean and safe working environment through daily housekeeping inspections and adherence to 5S practices, including (where appropriate) engaging in managing delegated 5S areas of responsibility Undertake training where required and appropriate Comply with Beckers Health and Safety policy and all Beckers procedures / rules that apply to the company and wider stakeholder community Adhere to the Beckers Code of Conduct The above list is not exhaustive and the role holder may be required to perform reasonable additional duties This job description records the principal responsibilities of the job at the date shown.
