As a Quality Technician you will be responsible for the following: - Interface with manufacturing, design, purchasing and process engineering on quality issues. - Assist with coordination of Defective Material Reports (DMR) – including containment / disposition actions and root cause / corrective action investigations - Assist with troubleshooting mechanical assembly problems - Participate in Lean (5S), Six Sigma, and Kaizen Blitz activities. - Perform First Article Inspection, Inprocess Inspection, Receiving inspection, and Final inspection activities. - Complete Test Reports per customer requirements. Requirements - Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related field. - Experience with inspections of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. - Understanding schematics, mechanical drawings, and mechanical testing techniques - Responsible, organized and detail-oriented, self-starter and team player with excellent communications, analytical, organizational and time management skills. - Good written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with customers, vendors, engineers, - Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as a member of a team - Ability to work well in a small team environment. - Experience working in an AS9100 or Lean Six Sigma environment is a plus
Responsibilities
As a Quality Technician, you will interface with various departments on quality issues and assist with the coordination of Defective Material Reports. You will also perform inspections and participate in Lean and Six Sigma activities.
