Job description:
General Summary:
The Quality Assurance Technician II is responsible for guaranteeing product quality by conducting thorough line inspections and laboratory tests to ensure products meet specific standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for food safety.
  • Required to perform various line duties such as measuring, weighing, counting, and analyzing both work in progress (WIP) and final products to ensure specifications are met.
  • Responsible for monitoring critical control points, preventive measures, procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
  • Responsible for testing various raw materials.
  • May be required to complete daily calibrations on various instruments.
  • Accountable for ensuring the completion of applicable quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Enhances the reputation of the department and organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing different requests and exploring opportunities that add value to job accomplishments.
  • Follows established Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure the safety, quality, and legality of products made by the company.
  • Other duties as assigned or required with training.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent desired.
  • +1 years of experience in a food safety-based role.
  • Must be familiar with running automatic and manual titration systems.
  • Able to run a pH meter accurately to ensure product conformity.
  • Proven record of attendance, document control, and document completion.
  • Able to analyze information and compute basic math skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Able to lift, push or pull 50 pounds repeatedly and navigate uneven surfaces/stairs.
