REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related discipline
  • Experience in a Quality or R&D environment in the pharmaceutical, food, or water industries is an asset
  • Strong computer skills and SAP knowledge
  • Familiarity with analytical lab equipment and methods
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical writing and problem-solving capabilities

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry
  • Industry experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or food sectors
  • Exposure to JJPS and continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

You will be responsible for independently performing chemical testing of raw materials, packaging components, bulk and finished goods in the Quality Laboratory. You will ensure compliance with internal specifications, regulatory standards, and support investigations and improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform core analytical testing in the Quality Laboratory (using Lab books, ELN, Catalyst LIMS, SAP, Empower, etc.)
  • Conduct sampling of raw materials, procured bulk, and packaging components
  • Participate in the continuing stability program for finished products
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with internal specifications and regulations
  • Contribute to method and cleaning validations, as required
  • Support investigations of quality events and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Maintain audit-readiness in lab workspace
  • Participate in training and development activities via Learning Management System
  • Involvement in project work related to compliance, cost improvement, and JJPS
