We are looking for a Quality Technician to join our team. We are a fast-paced company looking for someone who will be an integral part of our quality management team. At Kanak Naturals, our focus is on high-quality, sustainable, disposable tableware and food containers. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities: Conduct inspections and testing of all products based on established quality standards Complete and maintain records and data of all testing and inspections for review Read and follow work instructions, work rules and directions Use inspection, measuring and test equipment as required Conduct inspections and testing on new product development items, prototypes, samples and other items to assist in new product development Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly Communicate quality or compliance concerns to management Troubleshoot product quality issues that arise Requirements Successful candidates will have the following skills, experience, and/or abilities: Impeccable attention to detail Good communication skills, both written and verbal Positive attitude Self-motivated Ability to read and understand various measurement equipment Ability to work as part of a team whenever it is necessary to do so, but also be able to work independently Good analytical skills and ability to prioritize and adapt in the face of multiple tasks Strong problem solving and reasoning skills 3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel Quality inspection and documentation experience preferred Kanak Naturals is an ever-growing company looking to add talented people to our team.
