Description Job summary We are looking for a Quality Control Technician to monitor quality standards for all manufactured products at Golden State Assembly, LLC in Morgan Hill, CA. Responsibilities/daily tasks ? Read blueprints and specifications ? Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards ? Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process ? Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced ? Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers ? Operate electronic inspection equipment and software ? Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests ? Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work ? Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs ? Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications ? Report inspection and test data such as continuity test, resistance test, hipot test, and quantities conformant and quantities non-conformant ? Check products by sight, sound, or feel to locate imperfections such as cuts, scratches, missing pieces, or crooked seams. ? Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations ? Coach and mentor junior employees; seek opportunities to grow leadership in others Requirements Qualifications 3+ years experience in the manufacturing or assembly industry Proven experience as a quality control inspector in the same industry preferred Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures Excellent attention to detail Proficient in computer software applications Knowledge of industry products and processes Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision Ability to prioritize multitask and prioritize workload
