We are looking to hire additional team members that are reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to grow!
The Quality Technician will perform a variety of quality functions throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with both customer and regulatory standards. These duties will range from physical inspection of products to maintenance of documentation and support of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
An ideal Quality candidate will have experience with both Quality Assurance and Quality Control within a manufacturing environment, preferably with precision machined components. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings is a must, with a particular emphasis on strong GD&T comprehension.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using CMM.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed inspections of manufactured products using CMM.
  • Conduct first piece, in-process, and receiving inspections, with final inspections as needed to support business needs.
  • Perform follow-up actions for non-conforming products, such as identification and segregation of affected products.
  • Ensure gages and other measurement equipment are in calibration.
  • Assist in identifying and correcting areas in need of improvement and participate in corrective actions.
  • Assist with the preparation, completion, and submission of certifying documentation such as Certificates of Conformance, PPAPs, and FAIRs.
  • Help facilitate and perform process audits and annual ISO audits.
  • Assist in maintaining the company’s quality system documentation, including revising and controlling quality documents based on internal and external changes.
  • Ensure the company complies with ISO accreditation requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other necessary tasks as directed by the Quality Manager.
