Description Position Summary The Packing Quality Technician is responsible for verifying that aluminum bundles are correctly labeled, packaged, and match the shipping documentation prior to release for shipment. The Quality Technician confirms bundle count, identification, customer requirements, and overall conditions to ensure accuracy and prevent shipping errors. Key Responsibilities · Verify bundle identification tags and labeling for accuracy. · Confirm customer-specific packing requirements are followed. · Verify bundle counts, lengths and contents match shipping documentation. · Ensure products are properly labeled, secured and protected for shipment. · Identify, report, and assist in correcting discrepancies before shipment release. · Assist with general packing duties as needed to support production flow. Requirements Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to adapt to changing work responsibilities. Ability to learn and develop within a quality role operating in an ISO 9001 certified work environment Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shifts as needed Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required Good manual dexterity and vision for detailed inspection work Work Environment Manufacturing floor environment Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and extreme varying temperatures (hot and cold) Required use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, Metatarsal steel-toed shoes, gloves, etc.)
