We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our NASCAR team. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in quality assurance and process improvement within the fast-paced and competitive environment of motorsports. The ideal candidate will ensure that all race car components and processes meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety. This position is 70 percent hands-on quality control and 30 percent computer data recording.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience: 2–3 years in a quality engineering role, ideally within automotive manufacturing, aerospace, or a related field. Motorsports experience is a plus but not required.
• Education: Equivalent professional experience will be considered in place of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in quality tools such as Romer arms, Creaform scanners, PowerInspect software, SPC, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with CAD software and an understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, welding, and composite materials.
• Knowledge of NASCAR rules and regulations or similar motorsports experience.
• Passion for high-performance vehicles and motorsports.
