Description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Understanding of quality concepts in a manufacturing environment * Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment * Inspect, reject or accept product according to visual standard, weight, tally and other Q.C. requirements * Documentation and recordkeeping * Control the removal of monogram from non-conforming product * Wear appropriate PPE * Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures * Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures * Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures * Other duties as assigned EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS * High School diploma or equivalent * Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in manufacturing environment * JOB REQUIREMENTS * Factory environment with large range in temperature changes * Standing, walking, & Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily * Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily * Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly * Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES * Dependability/Attendance * Detail oriented * Teamworking and collaborative TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES * Trained into API Q1 and ISO 9001 * Basic math * Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge * Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required * Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations

Responsibilities

Ensure in-process products and finished goods comply with industry standards and customer requirements. Perform inspections using precision tools and maintain detailed quality documentation.
