About the roleYou’ll take ownership of customer complaints, quality issues, and internal non‑conformances from initial logging through to full resolution. Using inspections, testing, verification checks, and structured root‑cause analysis, you’ll help prevent issues before they arise and strengthen our compliance standards. Your work will support regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and the ongoing improvement of our quality processes.

Key responsibilities· Customer complaint handling — Act as a key contact for customer quality issues, ensuring timely, professional, and empathetic communication throughout the investigation and resolution process.· Non‑conformance management — Log, investigate, and manage internal and customer non‑conformances, carrying out root‑cause analysis and supporting corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).· Quality inspections — Perform in‑process and final product inspections, including visual, dimensional, and functional checks, ensuring products meet specifications and customer requirements.· Quality systems compliance — Maintain accurate quality records, support internal/external audits, and ensure all documentation meets Quality Management System standards.· Reporting & data analysis — Record inspection results, monitor trends, prepare quality metrics, and provide data insights to support continuous improvement and management reviews.

  • EssentialRecent experience in a quality-focused role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to use a variety of digital applications
  • Experience using quality management systems and tools
  • Knowledge of and experience using root cause analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A problem-solving mindset with a high level of attention to detail


  • DesirableIQA (Internal Quality Assurance) qualification
  • Experience of conveyor belting or similar engineered products
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system
