JOB TITLE: QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Location: We arelooking to recruit a Quality Technician in Birmingham. This position will be full time and permanent, working a regular days pattern.

Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinating specific sample requests for ongoing company certification requirements
  • Maintaining and managing internal and external retained sample storage areas and quarantine areas
  • Assisting in investigating defective material raised from discrepant material reports (DMR’s) and customer complaints
  • Assisting in internal and external audits
  • Participating in the administration of the Quality Management System
  • Carrying out quality checks on products
  • Sample checks on incoming deliveries and raw materials
  • Carrying out periodic quality randomised checks
  • Supporting with Product and Process Development trials and participating actively in Research and Development
  • Complying with quality, health & safety, and all other relevant ROCKWOOL policies and procedures
