YOUR EDUCATION :

  • Completion of College level education in Quality Control/ Quality assurance with 1 to 3 years of field-related experience

OR

  • 5 years previous experience working in Quality Control/ Quality assurance

YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES :

  • Knowledge of quality system management
  • Knowledge of products and building roofing standards (an asset)
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 environment or work in this type of environment (an asset)

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician is responsible for performing physical and in-process tests to ensure roofing products meet internal and customer specifications. This role supports the quality control of incoming materials, in-line production, and finished goods. The technician works closely with production staff, helps identify non-conformities, and ensures ISO 9001 quality standards are followed. They also assist in testing for product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
