SUMMARY

The Quality Technician will support inspection activities with a focus on operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) systems. This role requires hands-on quality inspection skills to ensure components meet specifications and customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on experience operating CMM systems (programming not required)
• Proficiency in measuring part tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret technical prints
• Understanding of calibration procedures and general inspection methods
• Previous experience in a quality inspection role within manufacturing preferred

• Operate CMM equipment to perform part inspections (training on in-house systems provided)
• Measure part tolerances using appropriate inspection tools
• Read and interpret technical prints for inspection criteria
• Follow calibration procedures and apply standard inspection methods
• Document inspection results accurately and report non-conformances as needed
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain quality standards
