Position Summary: Gaven Industries has an exciting opportunity for 2 Welding Quality Technicians to perform welding quality inspections, testing and verification of plans and materials before, during and after the manufacturing and/or construction process to ensure compliance with company and customer standards. The technicians will primarily work the second shift generally from 2:30 - 11 p.m. with potential for overtime.  These positions are located at the project site in Vancouver, Washington, and will involve travel to Gaven HQ for training prior to working at that site the week of December 1, 2025. Job Responsibilities: * Performs welding inspections as per project plan at different stages of construction to ensure compliance with company and customer standards * Identifies, communicates, and assists in the resolution of quality related issues * May make recommendations for quality process improvements * Additional duties as assigned.  Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  * Knowledge of welding quality standards; CWI or CAWI preferred * Ability to read construction drawings  * Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and tape measures  * Read and interpret vendor specification sheets * Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. * Ability to travel to Gaven HQ in Saxonburg PA for training and to the project site where the work is performed.  Education/Experience Requirements:  * High School Diploma or equivalent *  3-5 years of experience in a similar role  Benefits: Gaven provides health care benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k retirement program, minimum of 12 days of Paid Time Off (PTO), and 8 paid holidays annually to full time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours/week.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.  This job description defines the critical job responsibilities and requirements of a job classification in broad terms; it is not meant to be all-inclusive for any one position.
