Job Details Job Location: CMTB - Madill - Madill, OK Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: Undisclosed Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Description Job Description: The Quality Technician supports manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality standards are met through inspection, testing, and documentation. This entry-level role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement through Operational Excellence principles, including Standard Work, 5S, and structured problem solving. Key Responsibilities: Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Document and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain and audit Standard Work procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Support implementation and sustainment of 5S in work areas to promote safety, efficiency, and visual control. Participate in problem-solving activities using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and PDCA. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Assist in training operators in quality standards and inspection techniques. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits. Support internal and external audits as needed. Collect, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify new opportunities for improvement. Help drive a culture of continuous improvement and assist teams in adapting to new processes and systems. Evaluate existing processes to identify waste and inefficiencies and implement countermeasures using operational excellence tools. Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality role. Familiarity with Operational Excellence Manufacturing principles, including 5S. Problem Solving and Standard Work. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data entry. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Exposure to SPC (Statistical Process Control) and basic data analysis.
