Job Summary
We are looking for reinforcement for our test team.
Our mission is to find potential errors in our software products at an early stage and thus enable high product quality for our customers. We are constantly optimizing our test processes and looking for creative solutions.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Independent implementation and execution of defined test measures for our web-based and mobile applications as part of customer projects or product development.
Creating, reviewing and detailing complex test cases, in particular functional and non-functional system integration tests.
Creation of defects for detected deviations, follow-up of solutions and initiation of new test measures.
Support in the creation and implementation of test strategies.
Liaise with the internal technical departments for software development as well as the customers regarding testing in software projects.
Preparation and creation of test reports to support the go-live decision.
Coordinating and monitoring the work of external test service providers, compiling results and managing defects.
Prepare and update user manuals
Skills knowledge and experience:
Essential
Fluent German language skills, both written and oral at least on C2 level
Solid experience in the software test or quality assurance environment with a certification according to ISTQB or the will to obtain it.
Practical experience in the use of various tools used in software development projects, especially testing tools.
Practical experience in the use of various tools used in software development projects, especially testing tools.
Ability to write good reports and general word processing skills (Word, Excel, Databases).
Good day to day planning skills, co-ordination and control under pressure.
Ability to work equally well on her/his own as well as within a team.
Desirable
Good in English, both written and spoken.
Certification as ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level.
Experience in testing back-office systems for public transportation.
Practical experience in the use of Jira, Confluence and TestRail.
Basic user experience with database systems and working knowledge of SQL.
Initial experience in working with test automation.
