QUANTITATIVE ANALYST 2

Business function: Product Development
Location: Nashville, TN, Hybrid, or Remote
The Quantitative Analyst 2’s primary responsibility is to develop robust business intelligence products and perform ad hoc analyses to drive outcomes for our partners. This position resides in Asurion’s Operational Analytics team which primarily supports Asurion’s Customer Solutions field functions. We are looking for a quantitative-minded self-starter who is capable of framing business problems in data terms, able to build strong data foundations, and provide insights to technical and non-technical audiences in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Quantitative Analyst 2 will work in a team and partner with other teams as needed to deliver results for the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred (MIS or Quantitative Disciplines), or combination of relevant professional experience and credentials
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex and concurrent project engagements, including the development of reporting tools and performance management systems
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity—clarifying unclear requests, organizing priorities, and crafting clear, actionable roadmaps that lead to successful outcomes
  • Well-versed in data warehousing and architecture; experience designing and implementing scalable, multidimensional, and normalized data models
  • Experience in identifying and showcasing statistically significant trends in large & disparate data sets
  • Ability to identify and measure key performance indicators and assess how business changes impact those metrics
  • Exposure to call center, retail, supply chain, and/or operational analytics is a plus

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Proven ability to write and execute complex SQL queries and manipulate disparate data sources
  • Working understanding of best practices for data warehousing architecture and data modeling
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient with data reporting and visualization tools (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire)
  • Exposure to statistical analysis techniques (Regression, segmentation, clustering, forecasting, anomaly detection, NLP, ML, AI, Random Forest, Decision Trees)
  • Experience with supply chain and operational analytics is a plus

  • When necessary, facilitate faster response times for critical business needs by writing and optimizing complex SQL queries across disparate data sources
  • Proactively investigate trends in operational metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify cause-and-effect relationships between business drivers
