JOB SUMMARY

Sommer Consulting is seeking a highly self-motivated, professional individual for the full-time position of Quantitative Analyst in the healthcare field.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Quantitative Project Manager to ensure data integrity throughout the process of collecting data and delivering survey research reports. You will be primarily responsible for programming surveys, programming the statistical analysis, delivering crosstabulations, numerical coding of open-ended questions, and helping the Manager populate reports with survey data.
You will also be responsible for managing response collection, investigating fraudulent responses, and communicating with sample partners to meet all audience data requirements for the research.
A successful candidate must pay keen attention to detail, take initiative with a can-do attitude, and be open to feedback. They must also be organized and able to consistently meet strict deadlines.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ yearsof service-side experience analyzing survey research data, or a degree focused on market research, mathematics/statistics, psychology, or related market research sciences is a plus.
  • Knowledge of principles of programming online surveys and managing surveys while collecting responses.
  • Knowledge of statistical software including SPSS, SAS, R, or crosstabulation software such as Wincross, Marketsight, etc.
  • Medical/Healthcare/Pharma research experience or exposure to the medical/healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Independently motivated to learn about unfamiliar technical subjects including pharma and healthcare.

SKILLSETS

  • Strong Excel skills and/or statistical software experience
  • Translating questionnaire drafts into survey programs
  • Interpreting survey statistics, crosstabulations and supporting research
  • Secondary research skills for understanding technical medical/healthcare information
  • Good team communication
  • Staying organized. Remaining detail- and process-oriented to ensure data quality
  • Curiosity to learn about survey methodologies and grow quantitative skillsets
  • SPSS syntax writing, HTML/CSS/Javascript programming, graphic design/data visualization experience, report writing, coding experience a plus

THE ANNUAL SALARY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS $70,000 - $85,000 BASED ON EXPERIENCE. THE POSITION IS 100% REMOTE, BUT WILL BE BASED IN THE U.S. AS A RESULT, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN OR AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES. COMPANY BUSINESS IS GENERALLY CONDUCTED IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME.
