REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant university degree with a strong academic record.
• Strong quantitative and problem solving skills.
• Strong programming skills (ideally, Python) and Excel proficiencySolid understanding of financial modelling and pricing of financial instruments.
• Keen interest in learning and understanding the market making/trading business.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt swiftly to new challenges, willing to go the extra mile and work under pressure.

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, and web development.
• Experience with AI and machine learning.
• Knowledge of C++ programming.

THE ROLE

As a Quantitative Strategist you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day support of our market making operation. In close collaboration with trading and sales, you will design, build and maintain tools and apps for real-time pricing, risk computations, scenario analytics, etc. Our tools and apps are primarily built with React and/or Python using our inhouse-built C++ quant library NFL Dragonfly. However, you are also expected to be able to support and maintain models, pricing and risk functionality in our vendor systems, as well as monitor and manage our quant production flows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide real-time desk support for trading and sales teams.
• Provide financial modelling and quantitative analysis as an expert user of our inhouse quant platform, NFL Dragonfly.
• Design, build, and maintain NFL Dragonfly tools and apps for real-time model calibration, pricing, risks, analytics, etc.
• Configure and maintain models and pricing/risk functionality in NFL Dragonfly as well as our other vendor systems (e.g., Summit).
• Manage and monitor our daily production flows and secure a robust and transparent setup and governance for our quant platform services.
