MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in an applied research setting, or a similar role.
  • 6 years of experience in survey design and analysis (e.g., sampling and weighting surveys answers, writing questionnaires, pre-testing question wording).
  • Experience in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience conducting UX research on products.
  • 7 years of experience working with executive leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • 5 years of experience managing projects, and working in a large organization.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, analysis, and reporting of key insights through survey research.
  • Perform analyses of surveys and logs data using appropriate statistical techniques in Python/R.
  • Develop research reports that clearly articulate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other research and insights teams to develop cohesive narratives and identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other UX researchers, product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to identify and prioritize research opportunities and maximize research impact.
