ARE YOU A PRACTICING QUANTITY SURVEYOR WITH A PASSION FOR TEACHING? GUILDFORD COLLEGE IS SEEKING A QUANTITY SURVEYING LECTURER TO DELIVER THE DESIGN AND PLANNING T LEVEL.

This role is ideal for professionals eager to inspire the next generation of construction experts by delivering the innovative T Level qualification in Design, Surveying, and Planning for Construction.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Essential:

  • Quantity Surveying Qualification and industry experience.
  • GCSE level 4/C or equivalent in Maths & English.
  • Proficiency in software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Confident in using Virtual Learning Environment tools.

Desirable:

  • Experience in further education.
  • Experience delivering Design and Planning T Level.
  • RICS accredited qualification.
  • Proficiency in various communication platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess students, ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
  • Act as a course tutor, managing attendance and supporting academic progress.
  • Develop curriculum to meet industry needs.
  • Engage in student recruitment and attend promotional events.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative and quality standards.
  • Promote a safe learning environment in line with Health and Safety legislation.
    This is a full time, permanent position based at Guildford college. Salary Up to £42,182 per annum with a potential hard-to-fill supplement (dependent on qualifications and experience).
