About the role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the estimating and cost control processes for our construction projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.

What you will be doing

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
  • Analysing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other project documentation
  • Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process
  • Providing regular cost reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Collaborating with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects

What we are looking for

  • Degree equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in local construction industry
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Projects and cost estimating software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with construction industry regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
