QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Title: Project Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities: To meet the daily demand within on our projects across Europe, our busy commercial management department is extended to ensure all projects are commercially managed to meet our client’s requirements and deadlines. The role involves working closely with a Contract Manager focused on managing all aspects of the projects such as cost reporting, change orders, valuation submittal and certification, programmes and preparation of the final account.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word & Excel
- Must be self-motivated & punctual.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills.
- Must have high attention to detail.
- Ability and a passion to get issues identified and resolved expediently
- Willing to further develop in areas such as contract law and measurement
- Commercially aware

Responsibilities:
- Participate in tendering of projects to understand the base scope being tendered in collaboration with our estimating department
- Preparation of all commercial aspects of the project file prior to project commencement
- Cost reporting of all projects on a weekly basis
- Ongoing project performance projection
- Submittal of weekly change orders as they occur
- Submittal of monthly valuations
- Chase certification of valuations and payment of same
- Project cashflow projections
- Ongoing reporting of project status and performance
- Risk identification and subsequent mitigation
- Issue management as dictated by the contract documents
- Awareness Knowledge of Contracts and contract law
