As a Quantity Surveyor you will work with the team to ensure that our projects across Europe are commercially managed to meet our clients’ requirements and deadlines. The role involves working closely with a Contracts Manager on all commercial aspects of the projects such as cost reporting, change orders, valuation submittal & certification and preparation of the final account.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
  • Demonstrable commercial experience in an industrial/construction setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word & Excel
  • Must be self-motivated & punctual.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills.
  • Must have high attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in tendering of projects to understand the base scope being tendered in collaboration with our estimating department
  • Preparation of all commercial aspects of the project file prior to project commencement
  • Cost reporting of all projects on a weekly basis
  • Ongoing project performance projection
  • Submittal of weekly change orders as they occur
  • Submittal of monthly valuations
  • Chase certification of valuations and payment of same
  • Project cashflow projections
  • Ongoing reporting of project status and performance
  • Risk identification and subsequent mitigation
  • Issue management as dictated by the contract documents
  • Awareness Knowledge of Contracts and contract law
