Quantity Surveyor Location: Chorley Salary: £45,000 - £60,000pa depending on experience R J Urmson Quantity Surveyor (proudly part of the HSL Compliance Group) operates at the forefront of the Heating, Ventilation, and Passive Fire sectors. What You’ll Be Doing Manage all aspects of cost control for projects. Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate budgets and forecasts. Monitor project progress and implement cost-saving measures. Prepare detailed reports on financial performance for stakeholders. Negotiate contracts and change orders effectively. Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality assurance protocols. Support project managers in resolving contractual issues promptly What We’re Looking For Proven experience in quantity surveying or contract management within the heating, ventilation, or building services industry. Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and contract law. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyse financial data and prepare comprehensive reports. Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations. Preferred: Experience managing large-scale HVAC or Passive Fire projects.
