Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for civil construction, fit-out, and interior design projects.
  • Conduct on-site measurements and quantity take-offs to ensure precision in cost calculations
  • Conduct cost analysis for materials, labor, and subcontractor packages (especially for high-end finishes, joinery, and MEP fit-outs).
  • Monitor project budgets, track variations, and provide cost forecasting.
  • Evaluate tender submissions and recommend award decisions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design integrity.
  • Mitigate risks related to delays, material shortages, and design changes.
  • Work closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to align budgets with design intent.
  • Provide monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and profitability analysis
  • Liaising with clients to identify their needsEstimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour
  • Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards
  • Analyze contract documents, drawings, and specifications to identify potential cost implications
  • Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, and claims
  • Prepare and review interim and final payment applications
  • Collaborate with contractors, and suppliers to optimize project costs
  • Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management review
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual and financial disputes
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai
