Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong understanding of the Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement, 3rd Edition (CESMM3) to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for cost estimation, contract administration, and the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs) in accordance with CESMM3 standards.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a solid background in civil engineering projects, who is proficient in both pre- and post-contract quantity surveying tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying for civil engineering projects.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CESMM3.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and project cost control.
  • Proficient in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, or similar estimating software).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities using CESMM3 for civil engineering works.
  • Assist in the preparation, submission, and analysis of tenders.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates and cost planning throughout project life cycles.
  • Manage contract variations and change orders.
  • Monitor project costs and prepare monthly valuations and progress reports.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Assist in contract administration and resolving commercial issues.
  • Conduct site visits to assess work progress and verify quantities.
