POSITION:

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Bonatti Spa Dutch Branch for the Porthos CO2 Project, which involves the construction of a compression station to store CO2 in an empty gas field in the North Sea.
The role of the Quantity Surveyor is to manage all quantities relating to projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. To seek to minimize the costs of project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. It has the objective of exercising the control function on quantities and progress of the relevant project. The Quantity Surveyor interacts with foremen and supervisors to obtain all the information necessary for a correct measurement of the physical progress of the work phases. Depends on the Project Control Manager and works in synergy with Home Office and Field Engineering, Contract Manager, Planner and Cost Controller. Prepare data for both active and passive accounting.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3/5 years of experience in the role of Quantity Surveyor;
  • Relevant work experience in power plant would be an advantage;
  • The position requires specific technical skills in the relevant discipline (pipeline, civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation) with background in Construction, Design, and Engineering works. Can interpret drawings, contracts, and scope of works correctly;
  • Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Construction);
  • Knowledge and mastery of Excel and Construction Management System;
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and software for Drafting and 3D Modeling would be an advantage;
  • Fluent English;
  • Availability to work on site, at the construction site
