REQUIREMENTS

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures, implementing cost control measures as necessary.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects from a financial perspective.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost assessments and adherence to budgets.
• Prepare tender documents and assist in the evaluation of bids from contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.
• Provide regular reports on project costs and financial forecasts to management.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best possible terms.
