Aureol Global Connections is looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor Estimator specializing in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for M&E projects, ensuring that all financial aspects align with project specifications and client requirements. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to analyze project documents, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide expert advice on procurement strategies. Responsibilities Generate comprehensive cost estimates for M&E projects based on detailed specifications and engineering drawings. Conduct value engineering studies to identify cost-effective solutions while maintaining project quality. Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities and other relevant documentation. Collaborate with project teams to monitor project costs and ensure adherence to established budgets. Analyze subcontractor quotes and evaluate proposals to ensure competitiveness and accuracy. Provide guidance on contract negotiations and assist with procurement strategies for M&E works. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and validate cost assumptions. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations affecting M&E construction. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor Estimator, specifically with M&E projects. Strong knowledge of M&E systems, installation practices, and relevant standards. Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications. Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in cost estimation. Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective collaboration. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is an advantage but not required.
