JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are completed within budget and in accordance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
Responsibilities
  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
  • Proficiency in quantity takeoff, variation assessments, and subcontractor payment processing
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk analyses
  • Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Negotiate contracts and work schedules
  • Monitor project progress and prepare reports
  • Ensure compliance with legal and quality standards
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams
