QUANTITY SURVEYOR OPPORTUNITY

My client is one of the UK’s biggest housebuilders building quality homes nationwide. Due to a significant increase in key projects, the company is now looking for an experienced driven Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial Team to support a variety of residential developments. Reporting to the Senior QS/Commercial manager, you’ll be instrumental in managing costs and securing the financial success of projects.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIREMENTS:

• HND qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction or equivalent
• Must have residential /housebuilder experience
• Strong commercial awareness and a good understand of budget management.
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Good IT skills and proficient with COINs and other relevant software
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to reconcile any potential cost disputes.
• Able to work independently and part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
