Fortem’s contract with Orbit Housing is long term with options to extend and we cover over 17,000 houses across Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry, Nuneaton, Northampton, Milton Keynes and Bedford. We have multiple workstreams, including Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and Re-Roofing. THE ROLE

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and professional Quantity Surveyor to join our Orbit Housing contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to play a key role in our commercial management function, providing proactive and timely support.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Your key responsibilities will include: • Ensure the company secures its full entitlement within the contract. • Promote company values and procedures internally and externally. • Ensure project teams meet or exceed budget targets. • Act as a subject matter expert on contractual arrangements. • Maximise cash flow through invoicing and resolving client queries. • Monitor job costs and revenue to support data-driven decisions. • Manage disputes and identify potential issues early. • Ensure accurate cash flow forecasts and revenue profiles • Support financial reporting and cost control governance. • Oversee subcontractor orders, supplier onboarding, and team development.
