Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Good knowledge of computer software like Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Meticulous, responsible, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints and technical documents to prepare for quantity take-off and cost estimation (includes materials cost and labour estimates), to ensure quotation is delivered on schedule and within scope.
Communicate and coordinate between departments, clients for tender clarifications and vendor for parts information.
Check and review quotation and illustrations before submission; to ensure accurate BQ and compliance.
Maintain and updating of components price and catalogues.
To meet up with clients for tender clarifications, if required.
Maintain relevant documentation in an orderly and proper manner.
Making recommendations and report to department Manager on any non-conformance of work policy as and when necessary.
All foul and undesirable deals and transactions associated with quotation must be avoided and reported to the HOD without hesitation.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
