Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the financial and commercial management of refurbishment projects — primarily voids and planned works, with some responsive repair projects.
This is a varied role where you’ll be pricing jobs, managing subcontractor procurement, overseeing variations, and producing delivery models for internal teams. You’ll work closely with our Operations team and be supported by a Commercial Assistant for admin tasks such as invoicing, purchase orders, and CVRs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pricing jobs using archetypes and schedules of rates.
  • Producing delivery models for internal teams and pricing scopes for contractors.
  • Managing variations to ensure they are captured, costed, and agreed.
  • Preparing client and subcontractor final accounts.
  • Reviewing project P&L and identifying improvements with the Ops team.
  • Procurement and subcontractor management.
  • Commercial reporting directly to the Managing Director.
  • Supporting RICS accreditation (if not already achieved).
