Job Description & Responsibilities
1. Assist in preparing cost estimates and quantities from drawings (for tendering & on-going projects)
2. Support tender documentation preparation and bid evaluations.
3. Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors
4. Assist in preparing variation orders, main contract progress claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
5. Support senior QS in resolving contractual issues, assist in value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
6. Track project expenditure and assist with budget monitoring.
Qualification Requirement
1. Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building Management / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years experience in building works as main contractor, preferably residential and industrial building projects.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Glodon Software (TASC / TBQ) is a plus.
4. Initiative and willing to learn / continuous improvement
