REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or strong construction experience
• Previous experience is beneficial but not necessary
• Hungry to learn and develop
• Excellent communicator
• Strong time management and reporting skills
• The company will actively develop the successful Quantity Surveyor and will provide full support with degrees/charters
• Displays through an understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings
• Displays high capability of extracting quantities from site visits, customer interactions, and drawings
• Issuing enquiries to sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure that accurate quotations are received within specified time frames
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying Packages
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide and explain accurate reporting.

• Full Pricing of all Jobs with Senior Management
• Preparation of simple Bill of Quantities
• Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors on the pricing of work
• Liaising with Project Managers, Senior QS, and Homeowners on costings of variations and additional work requested with homeowners
• Site Visits and inspections
