We are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join us on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the cost, procurement, and contract administration of our high-end residential projects. You’ll work closely with the project management and site teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects to the highest quality standards. You will also work closely with the commercial director to implement and oversee cost reporting and management procedures within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and detailed financial reports for reinforced concrete frame and basement works
- Assist with the preparation and review of tender documentation and contracts
- Manage subcontractor procurement and valuations, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery
- Monitor and report on project costs and value
- Undertake site visits to assess progress and provide accurate cost reporting
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any issues that may impact project delivery or costs
- Manage and accurately price variations, including changes to the scope of works, design modifications, reviewing and assessing cost impacts of variations, and ensuring all claims are fully substantiated to comply with contractual requirements
- Ensure that all project documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date
- Provide expert advice on cost control, budgeting, and risk management
